Anima (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is operated by 413 Vision LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the Anima application and website at joinanima.io.

By using Anima, you agree to the collection and use of information described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the service.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account information — email address, username, and password (hashed) when you create an account.
• Content you create — vision board cards, images, quotes, goals, and connections you add to your boards.
• Usage data — pages visited, features used, and interactions within the app to improve the product.
• Device information — browser type, operating system, and IP address for security and analytics.
• Payment information — processed via our payment provider (Stripe). We do not store your full card details.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Anima service
• Process subscriptions and payments
• Improve and personalize your experience
• Send product updates and service-related communications
• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your vision board content to train AI models without your explicit consent.

3. AI Features

Anima uses AI features including content categorization and image generation. When you use these features, your input (text, image descriptions) is processed by our AI providers to generate results. We do not permanently store your AI prompts beyond the session unless required to deliver the feature.

4. Data Sharing

We share your information only in the following limited circumstances:

• Service providers — trusted vendors who help us operate the service (hosting, payment processing, analytics), bound by confidentiality agreements.
• Legal requirements — if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of our users.
• Business transfers — in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may transfer to the acquiring entity.

5. Public Boards

If you choose to make a vision board public, its content (cards, images, connections) will be visible to anyone with the link. You can make a board private at any time from your board settings.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You may delete your account at any time. Upon deletion, your personal data and board content will be removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

7. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), encrypted storage, and access controls. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure — we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable precautions to protect your data.

8. Children’s Privacy

Anima is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
